Clip recording in ableton with seaboard/equator has phatom lowcut fliter

I have my seabord and equator mapped and armed in ableton and it sounds fine when Im playing and also while the clip is recording. However when I play back the clip that I just recorded all the low frequencies have been cut out. I've searched around in equator and ableton and can't figure why this is happening. Help?
