I had an interesting idea how to expand the ways of playing ROLI instruments.
You can make a rubber pad, which on the bottom side will reflect the shape of the keys, and on the top will be flat. This will give the ability to play with drum sticks or full palm without damaging the surface.
This will make it possible to record incredibly realistic parts of a snare drum or percussion.
Of course, for this you will have to develop a separate software mode (surface zoning), and perhaps a separate module for Equator or even separate drum synthesizer.
