Hi, My Seaboard RISE 49 had an encounter with a falling object (long story.. old hard drive, shelf, a 3ft drop...) the corner of the drive hit with a nasty 'THWACK' and one note on the RISE's surface (a C# key) has a ~1.5mm tear in it.
I immediately loaded up the ROLI dashboard and went over the whole keyboard, especially the region around the impacted key -- the surface, thankfully, appears to respond with full range and no glitches.
However, I'm a bit worried now about this little cut in the rubber surface. It self heals when released (ie., can't really see the cut) but will it spread with the pressure/flexion of fingers pressing up and down, sliding through/past the slice, etc.?
Is there a semi-official way to seal the tiny cut, say with an approved rubber cement or something, to preven the tear from getting larger?
Thanks,
-Russ

Hi Russ,
Sorry to hear this!
We don't recommend attempting to fix tears in the silicone. Please reach out to our support team who can provide a quote for replacing the entire keywave surface.
