Using Lightpad Block and Rise together in multi-channel mode

I want to use Lightpad Block for key switching while playing Kontakt sample libraries on Rise. I've set up Block in note grid mode, and transposed it down to the range of Kontakt library's key switches. This setup works great when Rise is in single-channel mode. However, when I change Rise to multi-channel mode, the Block doesn't follow channel changes on the Rise, so key switching doesn't work consistently. This occurs even when I put the Block into multi-channel mode, and set it to the same MIDI channels as the Rise. Is this a limitation of current technology, or is there a setting I'm missing which would make Block change channels in multi-mode together with Rise? If not possible currently, I'd love to see this capability added in a future Dashboard update.
