Full Logic Pro X/GarageBand Control for Existing Blocks

The new support for Apple DAWs sounds interesting and we did get a Dashboard update allowing us to control track volume and panning with a Lightpad. But it sounds like the software coming with the Songmaker Kit allows for more flexibility, including switching between modes within the DAW and maybe controlling some synth parameters directly.
Is there any chance that these extra features are coming to our current Blocks or is it likely to remain a Songwriter Kit exclusive?
