If your Piano M is experiencing unexpected behavior or connection issues, follow these steps to troubleshoot:
- Charge your Piano M and make sure it's running the latest firmware.
- If you have multiple Piano M connected via DNA, check that the connectors are clean and the devices are on a flat surface.
- If problems persist, try resetting your Piano M. Follow these instructions below for hardware, software, or firmware reset.
Hardware reset
- Make sure the Piano M is fully charged and disconnected from any devices
- With the Piano M turned on, hold down the power and octave (<>) buttons for about five seconds.
- The Piano M will turn off, then will turn back on whilst you have the buttons held down.
Software reset
- Open ROLI Dashboard and connect your Piano M via USB or Bluetooth (Mac only).
- With your Piano M selected in ROLI Dashboard, navigate to the 'Device' menu in the menu bar.
- Click on 'Factory Reset'.
Firmware update
- Open ROLI Dashboard and connect your Piano M via USB or Bluetooth (Mac only).
- Click 'Updates' and check your Piano M has the latest firmware installed. If not, update as necessary.
