If your LUMI Keys is experiencing unexpected behavior or connection issues, follow these steps to troubleshoot:


  1. Charge your LUMI Keys and make sure it's running the latest firmware.
  2. If you have multiple LUMI Keys connected via DNA, check that the connectors are clean and the devices are on a flat surface.
  3. If problems persist, try resetting your LUMI Keys. Follow these instructions below for hardware, software, or firmware reset.

Hardware reset

  • Make sure the LUMI is fully charged and disconnected from any devices
  • With the LUMI turned on, hold down the power and octave (<>) buttons for about five seconds.
  • The LUMI will turn off, then will turn back on whilst you have the buttons held down. 

Software reset

  • Open ROLI Dashboard and connect your LUMI via USB or Bluetooth (Mac only).
  • With your LUMI selected in ROLI Dashboard, navigate to the 'Device' menu in the menu bar.
  • Click on 'Factory Reset'.

Firmware update

  • Open ROLI Dashboard and connect your LUMI via USB or Bluetooth (Mac only).
  • Click 'Updates' and check your LUMI has the latest firmware installed. If not, update as necessary.
