Most host computers and tablets supply sufficient power via USB-C to power Airwave’s infrared camera, headphone port, and pedal port.
You’ll need to use the included 65W USB-C PD power supply when connecting compatible ROLI keyboards directly to Airwave’s front ports. If used with this power supply, the keyboard and host device (computer or tablet) will also be supplied with power.
Compatible power supplies and USB-C cables:
- Third-party USB-C PD PSUs rated 60W or higher may also be compatible.
- Third-party USB-C cables rated 60W or higher may also be compatible.
Can I connect Airwave using a USB hub?
We recommend connecting Airwave directly to your computer without using a USB hub. If you do need to use a hub, we recommend a mains-powered one with USB 3.0 (or better) from a reputable brand. If using a USB adapter or extension, ensure that the total cable length between Airwave and your computer is under two meters, and that all components are rated USB 3.0 or higher.
