If your digital audio workstation can't find the Strobe2 AU plugin, there are a few steps that should fix this.
First, please check that the file ‘Strobe2.component’ exists in the following location:
- Macintosh HD > Library > Audio > Plug-Ins > Components
If it does not, please re-download and install the latest version of Strobe2 from ROLI Connect.
If you have an FXpansion serial number, head to your Product Downloads page on the FXpansion website.
If the file ‘Strobe2.component’ is in the correct location, please try clearing your AU cache by following the steps below, which should resolve the issue:
Quit your DAW.
Open a Finder window, hold the ALT key and select Go > Library from the menu bar at the top of your screen.
Open the Caches folder and delete the folder named AudioUnitCache
Restart your Mac
Please open your DAW again and Strobe2 should appear successfully as an AU instrument.
