Many of our videos highlight the expressive possibilities of the Seaboard and BLOCKS as MIDI controllers with NOISE, Equator, and third-party software. People often ask how to make the Guitar, Bass, and Saxophone sounds used in the demos.

The Saxophone sound used in Seaboard demos on YouTube is created by Audio Modeling's SWAM engine. The SWAM Engine is Audio Modeling's proprietary software instrument and is compatible with the Seaboard and BLOCKS.

NOISE also offers the SWAM saxophone and many other SWAM sounds in soundpacks including Bass Quartet, Treble Quartet, SWAM Strings, SWAM Saxophones, SWAM Flutes, and SWAM Woodwinds.

The Guitar sound used is Jazz Guitar by Kontakt. You can find the guide for using the Seaboard RISE and GRAND with Kontakt here, and directions on using BLOCKS with Kontakt here.

The Bass sound often used is also a Kontakt preset – Scarbee Pop Bass with a few minor tweaks in Guitar Rig.
