ROLI Support

ROLI Airwave includes the ROLI Airwave Player, an expressive software instrument compatible with MacOS and Windows machines, featuring a wide range of inspiring sounds and captivating 3D visuals that respond dynamically to your movements. 

How to install ROLI Airwave Player (applies to VST3, AU, and standalone app versions):

1. Download and install ROLI Connect from roli.com/start

2. Sign in to ROLI Connect using an existing ROLI account, or by creating a new one.

3. Register your ROLI Airwave using the barcode icon in the top-right corner of ROLI Connect.

4. Download and install ROLI Airwave Control from the Apps tab in ROLI Connect.

5. You may see the ROLI Package Manager window appear. When prompted, enter your Mac user details and click OK.

                                                                  *These are the same credentials you use to log into your computer.

6. The ROLI Airwave Control window will appear — click Manage Background Items.

7. The Login Items and Extensions window will open. Switch the ROLI Airwave Control extension to ON.

8. The ROLI Airwave Control window will prompt you to restart your Mac to complete the installation.

9. After restarting, you’ll be prompted to grant permission to ROLI Airwave Control in Login Items & Extensions. Click Open System Settings.

10. Driver Extensions window will open. Switch the ROLI Airwave Control extension to ON and click Done.

11. Download and install ROLI Airwave Player and Airwave Player Content from the Apps tab in ROLI Connect.

12. You may see the ROLI Package Manager window appear. When prompted, enter your Mac user details and click OK.

                                                          *These are the same credentials you use to log into your computer.

13. Open ROLI Airwave Player and follow the Getting Started instructions on screen to complete the setup.

 *The Getting Started instructions can be re-accessed at any time from the menu button in the top-right corner.

14. Start playing your keyboard with ROLI Airwave and experience the full expressivity of all Air Dimensions.

 *If you don’t have a sustain pedal, you can click the HOLD button in the bottom-right corner of the ROLI Airwave Player to sustain notes.
