You can set the way in which Equator2 expects to receive MIDI in the Note Configuration menu, found in the Mod Panel section of the synth.
Usually, you will leave these settings at their default, but they can be very useful for particular configurations or when using Equator2 with MPE and non-MPE MIDI controllers.
When using the Seaboard with Equator2, ensure that the settings in ROLI Dashboard always match with the MIDI Settings in Equator2.
MPE Mode
Global Channel
This setting determines which channel is reserved for global MIDI changes, Channel 1 or Channel 16.
In ROLI Dashboard, this is termed differently. Lower Zone reserves Channel 1 for global changes and Upper Zone reserves Channel 16.
