You can change the sound that you are playing – called a Preset – by clicking on the arrows on either side of the title at the top of Equator’s screen. You can also click on the title itself to view the full list of Presets.
Equator is ROLI’s custom-built software synthesiser. It is designed to work for and with Seaboard instruments, maximising the expressive potential of Seaboards’ unique Keywave surface. It is compatible across multiple platforms including OS X and Windows, and it works with a variety of Digital Audio Workstations.
Some software doesn’t automatically search in the right locations for newly installed plug-ins. If you can’t find the Equator plug-in in your DAW, try checking the application’s settings for a custom plug-in directory. The Equator plug-in can be found in the following folders:
VST Plug-in: Mac HD/Library/Audio/Plug-in/Equator for RISE.vst
AU Plug-in: Mac HD/Library/Audio/Plug-in/Equator for RISE.component
VST Plug-in (64-bit): C:/Program Files/Common Files/Steinberg/VST2/Equator for RISE x64.dll
