Within Equator, each dimension of touch (Strike, Press, Glide, Slide & Lift) has four alternate response curves which can be assigned independently to synth parameters. This is a very powerful feature, allowing you to use the same gesture in multiple ways.
For example you can assign a linear Press response to the filter’s cutoff frequency and a heavily down-curved response to the LFO frequency. Now, as you increase the pressure on the Keywaves, the filter will open steadily while the LFO frequency’s response will only increase significantly in the higher range of pressure.
Click on the icon in the top right of the Modulation Source’s panel to see all four response curves. Click to select one. It will display in full size and can now be assigned to any parameter. This assignment is entirely separate from the other response curves of the same Modulation Source.
